After Saturday’s premiere of Lifetime’s “Wendy Williams: The Movie,” Wendy Williams talked about her incredible – and often chaotic – life in the documentary “Wendy Williams: What a Mess!”
While full of her significance and attitude, she also offered more than a cryptic line about her life and her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter.

Sherrick allegedly raped Wendy

Tragically, Wendy suffered a second miscarriage at five months, and as she cried, she remembered that she had to give birth to a newborn baby girl.

Wendy has definitively stated that Hunter never physically abused her.
“She’s not a beating woman,” she said. “He’s just a weird man with a lot of problems.”
In 2018, Wendy fractured her shoulder. At the time, rumors were circulating that Hunter was the real cause of the injury, but in the documentary, Wendy claimed that she fell and broke her arm “on her own.”
Hunter attended every “Wendy Williams Show” production meeting, but he arrived late, so Wendy started without him. When Hunter showed up, he fractured the glass desk table in anger.

After he became healthy and came out of the sober living unit, Williams knew he had to file for divorce.
Following the divorce, Williams sold his home in New Jersey and moved to the “bachelor pillow” in New York, where he swims every day.
“I like my building,” she said of the financial district apartment. “It makes me feel worthy.”
