Wendy’s should join the Deep-Friars club.
Don’t let the innocent-looking ginger mascot of the company fool you – they are masters in the verbal grid of the competition (just ask Steak ‘n Shake).
Now, the acid-language fast food company is in tears with #NationalRoastDay, an invented tradition during which Wendy prepared a brutal lot of personalized insults for participants posted on Twitter.
And even the scandalous actor Armie Hammer faced their flames.
“It’s time for everyone’s favorite social holidays” wrote the fast food chain in a tweet with over 46,000 on Wednesday likes. “It is #NationalRoastDay, like now. Leave a “Roast Me” below and feel the burning. “
Needless to say, no one was safe from Wendy’s stupid pan.
“Good luck with the invented holidays”, wrote on Twitter New Belgium Brewing. “Bring it with the steak, we have a fat tire ready to soothe the burn.”
Wendy is obliged, tweeting: “Ah, the classic option” at least is not Bud Light “for cooking. #NationalRoastDay. ”
The chain of burgers escaped Coca-Cola signed up“Can I get a cup of water?” #NationalRoastDay. “They were referring to a frequent request made by freeloaders to fast food suppliers.
Responding to a request for frying from Oreo, they wrote: “A new flavor idea: don’t do it.”
And they absolutely melted Velveeta with the beard: “How are you a verified account when you are not even a verified cheese? #NationalRoastDay. ”
Not only food and beverage companies have been chopped up by the Wendy language grinder.
In the riskiest steak, Wendy flambed with Lionsgate movies with a reference to “Social Network” actor Armie Hammer, who recently made headlines for alleged cannibalism.
“I would give you a helping hand, but we’re afraid one of your actors might eat it,” they joked. tweet now deleted.
They also have defang “Twilight” franchise with“Name an actor who doesn’t try to live in your movies.”
“Congratulations on being the first search engine site to appear when people make the mistake of typing Google,” they snuck into Microsoft Bing.
Meanwhile, T-Mobile’s ears are ringing no doubt from this boutique burns: “Please note, a roast representative will be with you in 2-14 hours.”
Wendy’s even shot the king of insults himself, the British chef and the host of “Kitchen Nightmares”, Gordon Ramsay, for allegedly copying their methods. “Creating a food empire that does not insult people in order to remain relevant? Original True, Gordon ” they sent on Twitter with a photo of the iconic meme “Spiderman vs. Spiderman ”with images of Wendy and Ramsay digitally pasted over superheroes.
Wendy’s is no stranger to serving sick burns. Like a Michael Corleone who makes burgers from “The Godfather,” they verbally murdered almost every fast food rival from Burger King to McDonald’s.
