Mike Myers and Dana Carvey take a walk on the memory lane as they return to their iconic Wayne’s World characters in a new Super Bowl commercial.

In a “shameless celebrity cameo”, Cardi B injects his infectious personality with Wayne and Garth, while trying to encourage spectators to eat locally in support of restaurants fighting during the COVID-19 pandemic.

True to form the famous SNL script and two feature films, the one-minute ad opens with the theme song and is followed by the duo’s instructions to eat locally.

“As a local access show, we want everyone to support local restaurants, but we would never manipulate you like all the other commercials do,” they announce.

The ad then continues to play on the “eat locally” manipulation angle, including glamorous photos blown by the wind and the hosts supporting the mini-me children, as it states that it “never shamelessly relies on a celebrity cameo” as Cardi he makes his appearance.

“Yes, eat locally,” she says with a typical Cardi attitude and intonation, before the trio nods at the very popular TikTok suit to change costumes and change wardrobes with each other.

Wayne and Garth end up dressed in Cardi’s green feathered forest coat, and she reappears in Myers’ outfit before trying a few more times.
