Watch The Rock Sing Auld Lang Syne in honor of the New Year

Happy New Year! 2020 is behind us, which means that this week we saw a lot of fun posts from celebrities celebrating the new year. One such star is Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock. Johnson has posted many posts this holiday season, from offering a Ford F-150 to a longtime WWE employee to singing some cheerful songs like “Dwanta.” Looks like Christmas wasn’t the last time Johnson decided to sing for the holidays. The actor also went on Instagram to sing the New Year’s Eve classic, “Auld Lang Syne”, in honor of 2021.

Rock starts singing the song before saying: “Record scratches …. get your f * ck out of here 2020”. The actor adds: “It feels so good to have 2020 behind us.” Rock goes on to say that we feel that we have all been waiting for “an eternity” for 2021. “Now we continue. Like many of you, I’m all sure, all the girls and boys around the world did everything you could do and believe me, I was right there with you. Johnson has many interesting projects underway, including Disney Jungle cruise with Emily Blunt. The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters this year, but was postponed until next summer due to the coronavirus pandemic. Johnson also has Netflix Red Notice, who recently packed the footage. The film is an action / comedy / thriller starring Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.

Johnson will also make his DC debut Adam Black, which is expected to begin production soon. It was recently revealed that Seven Bucks Productions will restart King of Scorpio, which marked Johnson’s first lead role in Hollywood.
