Captain America is retired. Iron Man is dead. The third phase of the Marvel Movie Universe is over and it’s time for a new generation of heroes to take the place of the old one. 2021 will be an important year for this, as Marvel Studios sees if fans are interested in watching now that Thanos is dead and buried.
There are still some old movies on the road, such as the solo film “Black Widow” and “Thor: Love and Thunder”. Among the new children in the block are Eternals, which will appear in November, and “Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings”, which arrives in cinemas a few months earlier.
Marvel today released the first presentation trailer for the latter. Simu Liu plays the main character, a martial arts master trained to be an assassin by the vicious organization Ten Rings. Since then, he has tried to make a normal living in San Francisco, but soon he has to face his past, as well as ninjas and lions. Check it out:
The film also stars Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, Ronny Chieng and Michelle Yeoh.
“Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings” appears on September 3.
