Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is taking part in a virtual debate on the global economy presented by the International Monetary Fund.
Powell will be joined by IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, Irish Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe, and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, World Trade Organization Director General.
The event will be moderated by Sara Eisen from CNBC.
Powell and his Fed colleagues were largely optimistic about the economy until late, although he expressed concern about the uneven nature of the economic recovery. The Fed is committed to maintaining free politics until it reaches a full and inclusive job, along with inflation of about 2%.
