WandaVision star Paul Bettany reveals his future Marvel as a vision

Since the end of the year Avengers: Infinity War throughout WandaVision on Disney +, many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe wondered what’s next for Vision and actor Paul Bettany. He wasn’t sure if his character’s resurrection was permanent, and the show eventually revealed that the scarlet witch had recreated him from memory, while his body was left to be experienced by SWORD. But this new version of Vision had an awakening in the final series of WandaVision, due to a thinking experiment and an intervention from its counterpart created by Westview, and the fate of the character is now unknown.

But Bettany isn’t done with Marvel Studios yet. While talking to Esquire about his time WandaVision, said clearly that he intends to stay in the MCU for a long time.

“I like Vision. Yes, I’m inside,” Bettany said when asked if he would play Vision forever.

The actor also expressed his enthusiasm because he has a substantial chance to get into android. His character played only minor roles in Iron Man and Avengers movies before appearing in WandaVision. Bettany wondered what her character would look like without Wanda next to him.

“I mean, that’s the thing, isn’t it? I’ve never had a loved one to lose … I don’t know what pain is because I’ve never had a loved one to lose,” Bettany said. “There are so many things to get into with him, because he spent ten minutes here, ten minutes there, in the movies,” he adds. “Now, we’re starting to get some things out.”

Bettany had to pass double duty in the last episode of WandaVision after his body was revealed he was reassembled. The two opposing visions in Wanda’s hexagon proved to be a major highlight for fans, but it was difficult for the actor who plays two roles.

“I was super intimidated by myself,” Bettany joked. “I would come one day and be Vision or The Vision. Then Adam [Lytle], my stunt type, would play Vision. And he learned all the dialogue for both parties – it was great. I would play the scene like that. And then the next day, he would come in. And he would get the Vision. Then I would get Vision. And then we played our scene the same way with the fights, so that she could always have my beautiful girl in the room at some point. It was more confusing than I thought. It consumed my whole brain. “

All episodes from WandaVision are now running on Disney +.
