The first five episodes of WandaVision are now available for viewing on Disney + and the latest two featured Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis. This marks Dennings’ first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since then Thor: The dark world was launched in 2013. Dennings joins the MCU during one of his most ambitious projects. In fact, she said recently Additional TV that he thought the idea was “crazy” when he first heard the pitch.
In the interview, Dennings explains that her first meeting for the series was in a “top secret conference room” and she had to sign a lot of NDAs before entering. She added that the walls were “covered with sitcom references” as well as comics. “I was like, ‘How are you going to do this? This is crazy. This concept, I’ve never heard of it.’ Of course, they did incredibly well, but it’s hard to explain. “Dennings goes on to say that the” testament to the show “is that his mother, who has never seen an Avengers movie, loves him. Dennings fans will be delighted to learn that Darcy will likely appear in several future Marvel projects. “There are a few things I’ve done for Marvel that don’t appear [WandaVision]. But I probably can’t say, “Dennings said Additional. – We’ll just leave that.
Recently, Dennings was talking to Keep it podcast about WandaVision and revealed that Darcy’s role should initially have been a few scenes, but her friendship with Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) inspired a bigger role.
“Because Natalie and I are already friends, I remember exactly that,” Dennings said. “I go to the room and I’m very shy. I went in and sat down and Natalie hadn’t gotten there yet and everyone was so nice. Natalie came in and sat on my lap because we’re friends. I think our friendship started to infect them [like] her purity and love. Slowly, Darcy got more involved and I thought, “Why does he add me to the scenes?” She added: “To be honest, the magic of friendship is why I’m here today. ”
WandaVisionThe first five episodes are now airing on Disney +, and the new episodes fall on Friday. The rest of the 2021 range includes The hawk and the winter soldier, which is scheduled to premiere on Disney + on March 19, Black Widow in theaters on May 7, Loki debuting on Disney + in May, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringin theaters on July 9, And if… on Disney + this summer, Eternals in theaters on November 5, Mrs. Marvel and Hawkeye coming to Disney + later in the year and to Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 in theaters on December 17.
