Walmart works with FedEx for home returns

on a new return process for the holiday season and beyond. Carrier Pickup by FedEx allows customers to start a return online or in the Walmart app, which can then be picked up from a customer’s home at a scheduled time. Customers can also complete the return to a FedEx Office location. The program applies to items purchased and shipped from the Walmart e-commerce site. Walmart will now allow customers to start an online return and complete it in a Walmart store, whether the product was purchased online, in a brick-and-mortar location, or from a third-party seller. Refunds will now be credited on the same day if the return is completed in the store and immediately the next day for those processed elsewhere. Walmart has risen 20.7% in the past year, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA,
-0.20%
increased by 4.8% for that period.
