Internet users were stunned after a nurse confessed to using the same needle to vaccinate at least 10 people in Brazil against Covid-19.
The revealed video quickly went viral. The disclosure was made after a person asked him that the needle he was using had been moved when the dose was applied.
“This needle makes ten holes, do you understand? … It’s the norm here, we can’t change the needle,” the nurse revealed. Given the controversy sparked by the video, Mayor Altamira’s authorities have denied that the nurse will use the same needle to vaccinate more people coming for the Covid-19 vaccine.

The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced that the nurse had been separated from her position to clarify the situation.
Finally, the medical institution clarified that “all materials used in the application of the vaccine dose are discarded after use”.
