Vincent, the actor’s son Vin Diesel, will appear as a children’s version of Dominic Toretto’s character in “Fast and Furious 9”.
According to the Variety portal, this will be the first big screen role for the 10-year-old boy.
The long-awaited film will open in cinemas in June.
Under the direction Justin Lin, the story will follow the confrontation between Toretto and his team against Jakob (John Cena), his younger brother and Cipher (Charlize Theron).
The franchise, which began in 2001, is scheduled to end with a 10th tranche.
The eight existing films, not counting the “Hobbs & Shaw” spin-off, grossed more than $ 5.18 billion in theaters.
