This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Legend of Zelda. Like the Super Mario holidays, Nintendo could revive any game in the series.
Given this, YouTuber SnazzyAI – the same individual who showed up Animal Crossing: New Horizons running at 4K, 60FPS – released a new video, this time showing the 3DS title, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D it might look like it’s somehow ported to the Nintendo Switch.
To do this, they took the “best trailer” of the 3DS game – resulting in 1080p, 60FPS.
“I took the best trailer I could find and downgraded it from 1080P (it often happens that publishers post it at a better quality than the video actually is) to 480P. Then AI changed it to 1080P from that 480P. Then AI interpolated at 60FPS, because I think a higher frame rate is so necessary if it gets to the Switch.
While SnazzyAI would also welcome a full remaster of the Switch, they think most fans would be happy with the 3DS version. And it would be quite appropriate, given that the Switch is partially portable.
Does this trailer make you want to return to this timeless classic? Want to see Ocarina of Time available on the Switch at some point? Tell us in the comments.
