The fun bus leaves and this time it is not in the driver’s seat.
Vicki Gunvalson, a student of “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, claims that she signed a contract to appear in the upcoming “Housewives” series, of all the stars, but says that she did not hear any drop of the network while the production is growing.
Now, a source tells Page Six that while Gunvalson should have originally appeared on the upcoming Peacock show, the network announced it when the series changed direction, canceling his contract.
“She should be very grateful that her contract is void, because now she would be breaking the contract,” our source sniffed.
The highly anticipated series, which can be described as “Real Housewives” meets “Real World”, will bring together the franchise’s favorites, including Luann de Lesseps, in a tropical location.
“Repeat this if you think they’re bulls – t Vicki isn’t in the spin-off HW,” a fan recently wrote on social media, prompting Gunvalson to reply, “It’s bulls !!”
“I had the contact signed by both parties in FEB, then Covid hit … then the crickets [sic]”, She wrote on Instagram.
Gunvalson was an original cast member when “RHOC” premiered in 2006 and left the show before season 15 (2020). She spent season 14 (2019) in a “friend” role instead of a lead role in the cast.
Page Six confirmed exclusively earlier this week that Lesseps’ favorite “RHONY” has been cast in the show, which will begin filming in the Turks and Caicos Islands in April.
The Blast reported that the series will feature between eight and 10 women from the Bravo franchise and that names including Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna have been considered.
“RHONY” star Sonja Morgan could also appear on the show, as she posted on Instagram from Turks and Caicos.
