MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Registration for the COVID-19 vaccine is now open for Vermonters 75 and over.
You can register for the vaccine at this link. On Mondays, starting with lunch, you can also call 855-722-7878 to make an appointment. Before, the call center will be open Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
When you make an appointment, you will be asked for your name, date of birth, some medical questions, such as if you recently had another vaccine, and insurance information, although insurance is not required.
The first meetings will begin on Wednesday.
A receptionist will check you in, someone will give you a chance, then you will spend 15 minutes observing and then you can leave. It is important to get to the meeting, because otherwise your dose may go bad.
An appointment to receive the second dose of vaccine will be made after you receive the first injection.
