Vaccination center in Pedrín Zorrilla is reaching its capacity: the gates are closed

The National Guard ordered the gates to be closed to access the Pedrín Zorrilla Coliseum, as the maximum number of people to be vaccinated arrived today.

“The vaccination capacity for today, Thursday, December 24, has been completed. Only people already in the parking lot of Pedrín Zorrilla will be vaccinated,” they said in written statements.

The vaccination effort outside the hospitals started yesterday only for health personnel working outside the hospital facilities.

The vaccination in Pedrín Zorrilla will continue on Saturday, December 26, because tomorrow, December 25, Christmas Day, the operations will be paralyzed. These are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

As reported by General José Reyes, adjutant general of the National Guard, the opening of two additional vaccination centers in the municipality of Caguas and Arecibo is expected next Tuesday.

Patience is called for as the vaccination projection runs until June 30.
