(Update) The Outriders demo rebalances after equipment farmers go to HAM

Agriculture is like the Stardew Valley

[Update: People Can Fly has applied a second update to the Outriders demo in response to complaints about the first. As noted by Eurogamer, the Gauss boss chest will have a chance of dropping Legendary items once again. Ledge gear will remain absent from other chests.]

A lot of people enjoyed the demo for the team shooter People Can Fly Outriders, with an amazing two million players who authenticate to fight over the deserts of the planet Enoch, over and over again.

In fact, people resumed the demo so much often, that they begin to build an alarmingly powerful arsenal of weapons – so much so that the developer intervenes to change the ease with which mercenaries can collect this devastating firepower. The concern is that this intense method of “farming” top-level equipment and armament will leave players absolutely loaded for the bear once the main game finally arrives and sees them suffocate the opposition throughout the main campaign.

Speaking on an official Reddit post, People Can Fly mentioned that it is okay for the player to play the demo whenever they want, providing any goodies along the way, but that this could prevent them from enjoying themselves. game, which will allow players to carry over their inventory and levels from the demo edition.

New update – which is available in Outriders Demo today – will eliminate all chances of finding legendary equipment in chests, shops and vendors, although they Vol stay as rewards for completing side missions or as exceptional lucky drops from defeated enemies. People can fly hopefully this will reduce the chance that the whole community will rise to Outriders similar to the Schwarzenegger tools on the beach in Command.

Outriders launches April 1 on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Stage. Stay tuned, as our own Chris Carter thoughts on the demonstration should reach Destructoid today.
