Unrest in Italy: The cemetery on a rock collapses and coffins fall into the sea

Part of a cemetery located on a rock in the Italian region of Liguria (northwest) sank due to a landslide, losing dozens of coffins that reached the sea, firefighters confirmed today.

The workers tell in the recordings, broadcast by the local media, how the earth began to vibrate and immediately before their eyes, part of the cemetery began to crack and ended up sinking on the beach.

Camogli Cemetery is one of the most appreciated in the place due to the area in which it is located, in the Italian tourist “riviera” overlooking the Ligurian Sea.
