ORLANDO, Fla – Universal Orlando now offers the first military freedom permit for active and retired military members and their families.

The permit, which can be used on any day of the year, gives military members and their families a chance to enjoy two or all of the Universe’s three theme parks, including Universal Studios Florida, Universal Adventure Islands and Universal Volcano Bay.

The permit also offers families the options to upgrade to exclusive military vacation packages. Universal officials said military members are eligible to receive a discount at all Universal Orlando Resort hotels, including a discount of up to 40 percent of their room rate at Universal’s Bay Beach Resort Chalet.

A 2-park military freedom permit will cost $ 199 per adult, while a 3-park permit will cost $ 234 per adult. Each Military Freedom Pass has no blocking data.

The Volcano Bay Universal water park is closed, but is expected to reopen on or before March 1.

The military release permit is only available with a valid ID at your authorized military ticket and travel office.

The permit can be used until December 31.
