UNC Health does not expect long lines at vaccine clinics :: WRAL.com

– Many people were frustrated by the way the vaccines were administered throughout the Triangle. Some sites had to remove long-awaited seniors. Others had to wait more than 5 hours in a row.

The cars line up at 4:30 in the morning for the car vaccine clinic

On Monday, UNC Health opens its vaccination clinics, but does not wait for long lines. People will have to make appointments before they get to the clinic.

On Monday morning, 850 people will be vaccinated at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.

More than 10,000 coronavirus vaccine appointments are scheduled this week at UNC Health clinics for people 65 and older.

Appointments are full this week, so health officials suggest returning next week for more meetings. If UNC receives more doses of vaccine, more meetings will be opened.
