SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – On Wednesday night, a police source informed KPIX that two of the women seen in a video of a confrontation during an Uber trip in San Francisco that went viral are now wanted for assault and robbery.
The Uber driver said the women called him a racial insult, took his phone and ripped off his mask. San Francisco police also said that one of the women sprayed what was believed to be pepper spray into the vehicle and into the driver after she got out of the car.

Part of that activity can be seen in the video posted by the driver showing the confrontation.
Law enforcement sources identified the two suspects as the King of Malaysia – the woman seen in the video standing in the front passenger seat, dressed in red – and Arna Kimiai, the woman seen sitting behind the driver who is seen in the clip at one point. grabbing the phone driver’s.

The driver said he picked up the women on Sunday afternoon at about 12:45 a.m. on San Bruno Boulevard and Silver Avenue. Things warmed up after he told one of the passengers that he had to wear a mask.
KPIX 5 first reported on the story Monday night. The video was shot on Sunday by the driver, identified as 32-year-old Subhakar Khadka. In it, three women are seen in the back seat, repressing the driver using blasphemy. At one point, the woman now identified as Arna Kimiai, who coughed at the driver, also ripped off the mask she was wearing.

The driver said he stopped to tell the women to wear masks and the driver is heard telling the women to get out of his car. The video begins with a woman telling the driver, “F – the masks!” and then she coughed at him repeatedly.
Khadka told KPIX that the woman seen wearing red, now identified as King, sprayed a type of pepper spray into his car after she got out.
The video of women abusing the Uber driver and the story surrounding the confrontation has gone viral ever since. Both Uber and Lyft banned the user from the incident.

Passenger Kimiai also posted a video from her perspective behind Khadka, where she claims that he tried to get her and her friends to get out of the car while on the highway.
Kimiai’s Instagram account @keepinupwforeign posted a series of videos that appeared to precede the incident on Sunday, but the account has since become private.
Kimiai also posted a video on social media expressing some remorse for her actions, but she continues to blame and blame the driver for ending her journey and asking her group to leave. his vehicle.
In that video, Kimiai threatens to sue Uber and ends the video by saying, “That’s why I’m taking Lyft.”
