TSE Revokes Pro Bukele Activist Accredited After Harassment Charges Against Former FMLN Candidates

The accreditation of the “journalist El Radio” of the government-linked youtuber, Roberto Silva, was revoked, following a TSE agreement. In addition, access to the hotel where the final check-in takes place has been denied.

Magistrates of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) have agreed to revoke the accreditation of Roberto Silva’s “journalist from Radio El Salvador” following allegations of harassing former FMLN candidates Daniela Genovez and Karina Sosa during the final count.

“EST, in the context of the final examination of the elections of February 28, 2021, warned that it is a notorious fact that Mr. José Roberto Silva Rugamas, who was accredited as a journalist for Radio El Salvador, verbally attacked women members of the final vote, a situation that it is considered incorrect and therefore cannot be accepted by any person in the facilities where the final control is carried out ”, says the resolution that the Court published through its Twitter account.
