Try not to be jealous, but Japan receives an exclusive physical edition of Legend of Mana

When it comes to their remasters, Square Enix didn’t give them much physical love on Switch. Final Fantasy VII / VIII it was an exception, but SaGA Frontier and Crystal Chronicles’ Final Fantasy they are currently only digital. If you do not intend to import this new collector’s edition, The legend of Mana it seems to work the same way.

Announced last week at Nintendo Direct, Legend of Mana was first released in 1999 on PS1, marking the fourth main entry after Hand trials. Remastered as part of Mana’s 30th anniversary celebration, Square Enix also confirmed an exclusive collector’s edition for Japan.

Including the game, the art book, the Li’l Catcus plush and an official soundtrack, it costs .3 14,300. Currently, it is also the only way to physically obtain the Legend of the Hand. In this listing, Square Enix states that “this game package is not planned to be sold separately.” This edition is not confirmed for a western release either. Boo.

Launching on June 24, we hope that Square Enix will make this more available. It’s a shame if they don’t, but JRPG fans look forward to it.
