Former President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he “is not a fan” of Meghan Markle, but that he hopes to launch his 2024 presidential rumors.
Trump was asked in a Fox News interview with Maria Bartiromo about his thoughts on a potential candidacy for executive office by Prince Harry’s American husband, following their successful interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“Well, I hope that happens, because if it did, then I think I would have an even stronger sense of running,” Trump said.
“I am not a fan of her. I think what he’s talking about is the royal family and the queen – I happen to know the queen, as you know. I met the queen and I think the queen is an extraordinary person. And I’m not a fan of Meghan. ”
It appears that Markle, 39, is networking with Democrats and is proposing his own way to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave following an interview with Oprah on CBS, in which he claimed that the royal family is not supportive and racist.
Trump said in a TV interview that he will decide on a presidential candidacy after the midterm elections in 2022. “Honestly, we will make our decision after that,” he said.
Markle opposed Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and appeared to support Biden in a campaign video with her husband.
In response, Trump said during a briefing on the White House coronavirus: “I wish Harry good luck, because he will need it.”
Trump previously joined Queen Elizabeth II during the so-called #Megxit family breakup.
Last year, Trump wrote on Twitter: “I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen and the United Kingdom. It has been reported that Harry and Meghan, who have left the Kingdom, will be living permanently in Canada. They have now left Canada for the US, but the US will not pay for their security protection. You have to pay! ”
