Trump refuses to sign aid package, demands changes

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, is said to have refused to sign the bill today that would establish the $ 900 billion support package for COVID-19.

In a video posted on networks, Trump criticized the way aid was distributed, calling the legislation a “disgrace” and “disgrace”.

The outgoing president called for changes, such as increasing the amount of the check from $ 600 for the most needy to $ 2,000. He also asked to include a museum budget.

Trump is also said to have criticized the inclusion of undocumented families in the aid.

“Not enough is being given to companies that have suffered so much,” Trump said in his criticism of the plan.

“I ask Congress to change this law and increase the ridiculously low value from $ 600 to $ 2000, or $ 4000 per couple,” he concluded.

Yesterday the federal Senate and the House approved the aid package and all that was missing was the president’s signature.
