San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s officials say a pickup truck that was stolen during a home invasion robbery in rural San Luis Obispo was found abandoned Wednesday morning at a gas station in San Jose.
The robbery was reported Saturday afternoon at a house in the 1700 block of O’Connor Way.
The former resident told investigators that the suspect took money from inside his house and stole his truck.
Through forensic evidence found on the spot, the sheriff’s officials say they were able to identify the suspect as Johnny Jesse Roman Jr., 38, of San Luis Obispo.

A warrant has been issued for Roman’s arrest. If seen, sheriff’s officials say you should call 911 immediately.
Sheriff’s officials say the victim and the suspect did not know each other.
