Trevor Lawrence set for the shoulder procedure, should be ready for training camp

Trevor Lawrence, Clemson’s defender, will undergo a labrum repair on his left, which is not expected to affect his preparation for the 2021 season, his MGC Sports representatives told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The procedure, on his non-throwing shoulder, is to take place after Lawrence’s throw – selection no. 1 projected in this year’s project – for NFL teams on Feb. 12, officials said.

Doctors are confident that Lawrence will be recovered in time for training camp, officials said, adding that Lawrence will not attend Clemson’s professional day in March.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are No. 1 in the draft and are expected to select Lawrence, which would mean he will play for new NFL coach Urban Meyer.
