San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Trent Williams is just a week away from becoming a potential free agent. Ideally, he hopes this will not happen. He would like to stay with the Niners, who changed them off last season during the draft. Head coach Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers would like to keep him on the roster. Fans would also like to see Williams sitting. The offensive line veteran quickly became a fan and media favorite.
Williams joined teammate Richard Sherman, also scheduled to become a free agent on Cris Collinsworth Podcast in this week. Sherman predicts Williams will remain in 2021.
“I made him stay in San Francisco for The Faithful,” Sherman said. “I think he’s staying in San Francisco. I think he’s making you guys happy for another five (or) six years and he takes his gold jacket and decides if he wants it in Washington or San Francisco.”
Of course, players are not included in the Pro Famei Football Hall associated with a specific team. They are included as players and associated with each team they played with during their professional career.
As for Sherman’s prediction, Williams didn’t sound like he had a problem with it.
“It’s not a bad review, guys,” the eight-time Pro Bowl striker replied. “That’s not a bad idea. We all bark at the right tree.”
But Sherman, who almost certainly doesn’t go back to the 49ers? What landing point does Williams predict for his defensive teammate?
“I’m not going to lie, man. Rich is one of my favorite teammates I’ve ever had,” Williams said. “… I know that any locker room that will attract him will be blessed. I would like to stay in the locker room with him because I know what he adds to a team.
“I think it’s going to be a winning team now, with whom I feel like I’ve been on a winning team now. Rich, he’s so smart. He can do anywhere. He can fit in any locker room. He can mix with any crowd. So I don’t really see any limits to it. “
Williams hesitated to name potential landing places, but eventually dropped some options.
“I still hope he’ll be back in any locker room I’m in,” Williams said. “… I can see [the Kansas City Chiefs], getting in there and helping that defensive background. … I would like to see him somewhere where the weather is nice, to receive a good salary, taxes do not beat him.
“[The Las Vegas Raiders] sounds like a good team. I think the Indianapolis Colts. AFC, there are many good places out there. As long as he doesn’t get back to Seattle. … I definitely don’t want to see him twice a year if I’m in San Francisco. ”

Options for 49ers if LT Trent Williams leaves for free agency

The worst case scenario for the 49-year-olds from this off-season would be to see All-Pro leaving Trent Williams to go to the free agency. Outside of last season, the team sent a 3rd-round selection to the Washington football team to acquire Williams, then restructured its business to give it a small salary increase and included the language in the contract that stated that they will not use the franchise label on him in 2021. Looking at the free agents waiting in the attacking position, it is easy to see that Trent Williams is by far the best player available. Williams said he would like to return to the 49ers, which is good news, but he also wants to test the market to determine its value, which could be bad news. There are enough teams at the level of space for the cover, even with a tight season with the cover, and with a need

The San Francisco 49ers let receiver Emmanuel Sanders go through the free agency after he struck a mid-season deal with the Denver Broncos to buy him. He was seen as a piece that could help lift the team to a championship and came very close to achieving this last year. Could Trent Williams’ offensive offense be unique as well? Last year, San Francisco moved to Williams to replace retired Joe Staley, giving up the capital project in the process. Williams is the most prominent name on the 49ers’ long list of free agents. Gregg Rosenthal, NFL Network, recently ranked his first 101 free agents in 2021. Williams entered

The San Francisco 49ers still have exclusive bargaining rights with Trent Williams offensive representatives. This will change on March 15, when negotiations with other teams can begin. With no new reports on the progress of negotiations with San Francisco, it appears that Williams remains on the open market. The 49ers allegedly had “extensive” discussions with Williams’ representatives before the team’s regular season finale. They hoped to avoid a situation where eight times Pro Bowler even approaches the free agency. Obviously, that didn’t happen and here we are. Williams and San Francisco have a mutual desire to stay together. Still, there

Ascendant: Increased demand for Trent Williams could lead 49ers to attack number 12

Assuming they went all-in to return to the Super Bowl last season, the San Francisco 49ers changed the offensive attack to Trent Williams to replace retiring Joe Staley. It was a good move for a team that felt it could not afford a drop-off in a key position on a roster expected to avenge the defeat of the Super Bowl LIV. Upon arrival, Williams immediately noticed the difference between the 49ers environment and the one he experienced in Washington. The meeting with head coach Kyle Shanahan rejuvenated the offensive officer, who hoped to land in a long-term home. “I didn’t see this situation as if I wanted to come here for a year,” Williams said
