According to a new crime report, a translator of Jujutsu Kaisen was arrested on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography. Stefaan Koza was picked up by the Herndon Police Department in Virginia. The 33-year-old suspect is charged with five possession and five distribution offenses.
Currently, Koza is. being held without bail at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Police said they made the arrest in tandem with the Child Crimes Working Group on the Internet. Koza is expected to be heard in early March 2021.

Koza is best known as a fandom manga translator and also uses aliases like Steady and Steady Studios for his online projects. Koza most recently began translating Jujutsu Kaisen for Viz Media, but the suspect also does English translations for other titles such as Tokyo Shinobi team, we never learn, and other.
Viz Media did not comment on the situation at this time.
For fans Jujutsu Kaisen, this update comes as a surprise, but creator Gege Akutami has absolutely no part in this attempt. The Japanese creator is completely removed from his manga translation efforts. Akutami began to publish Jujutsu Kaisen in March 2018 and grew in popularity, given the launch of his anime. The first season of the show has ended its first arc and will begin the adaptation of the second in the light of the new year.
