Former Bastia before Christopher Maboulou died at the age of 30, the club announced through their official social media accounts.
The footballer died in his birthplace, Montfermeil, on the outskirts of Paris, after suffering a heart attack while playing with his friends.
“Sporting Club de Bastia they have just been sadly informed of the tragic death of their former player Christopher Maboulou, ” Bastia posted on Twitter.
“The whole club sends its sincere condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.
“Rest in peace”.

Maboulou He played 29 Ligue 1 and 58 more Ligue 2 matches in France and is remembered for the braces against which he scored Marseille into the Marcelo bielsaDebut debut in August 2014.
Then he moved to Greece to join NU Giannina in 2016/17, before returning to France to work Nancy, which he helped to promote in League 1 in 2018/19.
