Tractors will be sold in MLC ›Cuba› Granma

Independent producers, associated with the forms of production and state-owned companies will be able to purchase, through the freely convertible currency (MLC) stores in Cuba, tractors, Belarus and New Holland, in Belarus and Brazil, respectively.

Independent producers interested in this equipment, marketed by the Logistics Business Group of the Ministry of Agriculture (Gelma), must deliver the documentation that accredits them as a producer and for land ownership, specifies the entity on its Facebook page.

The Ministry of Agriculture is negotiating the incorporation into the marketing of 32 new national production lines, such as multilayer bags for coal, egg tray, boots, vinyl paints, gloves, jute bags, wagons, multiarado, flat files, plastic buckets, multipurpose boxes and sanitation products.

The way of trading in MLC was an opportunity that, since September 10 last year, Gelma took advantage of, to look for alternatives to the difficulties caused by the intensification of the blockade.

With this sale to producers, they have raised about $ 300,000, according to the Minag website. Initially, the conditions were created in 16 centers located in the provincial capitals; while the first experience was conducted in three units located in Havana, Villa Clara and Santiago de Cuba. However, seven malls are currently in operation and eight more are expected to open.

Approximately 2,000 customers have already visited the units and 628 purchases have been made, most of which belong to manufacturers and only 17 from the business sector.
