Toyota RAV4 models have been investigated for failure that could cause a fire

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation into millions of Toyota RAV4 vehicles for possible engine damage that would set them on fire.

This federal agency has received approximately 11 complaints regarding the 2013-2018 model cars.

Documents released today explained that the fire usually starts in a left engine behavior, where a terminal would cause a short circuit.

According to Bay News, most of these failures occurred while the vehicles were being driven, but some drivers reported that the fire occurred even with the engine stopped.

1.9 million vehicles would be evaluated in this research.

Although the vehicles are not yet requested for repair by the company, the investigation could lead to this.

Toyota spokesmen declined to answer to the media whether those who own these vehicles should park them outside their homes to avoid a major accident.
