Tornado warnings are expiring throughout the Ozarks region

NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning Saturday afternoon for several counties in the Missouri Ozarks, all of which have expired as of 5:15 p.m.

Tornado warnings were issued in parts of Barry, Lawrence, McDonald and Newton and McDonald counties. Warnings first came in at around 3:45 PM

During a tornado alert, a tornado has been detected or indicated by the weather radar and there is immediate danger to life and property. If you are near a tornado warning, seek shelter immediately.
