Following endless rumors about whether and when there will be an Apple event this spring, it has finally been set. Just hours after Siri revealed the news, Apple announced that it will host a virtual event on Tuesday, April 20, at 10 a.m. Pacific time, with a feed available on its website and YouTube.

What to expect The April 20 event

As with Apple’s 2020 virtual events, this event will consist of a pre-recorded video with Apple executives speaking from locations around Apple Park’s California headquarters. IPad Pro Mini-LED is expected at the Apple event on April 20, as production increases

One of the new products that Apple announces at the April 20 event is an iPad Pro with a Mini-LED display and DigiTimes this week reported that supplier Apple Ennostar will intensify production of Mini-LED chips for the tablet later this month.

The mini-LED backlight will be exclusive to the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro, with benefits including increased display brightness, improved contrast and more compared to LCDs used in current iPad Pro models. Another 11-inch iPad Pro is expected, both sizes of the tablet rumored to get a faster A14X chip, Thunderbolt support, improved camera systems and 5G support for cellular models.

Due to manufacturing issues, the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro could be shipped later than the 11-inch model and will initially be available in limited quantities.

2022 iPhone devices said they will include a 48-megapixel camera and 8K video recording without the 5.4 “mini option

While we are still a few months away from Apple’s launch of the so-called iPhone 13 line, the rumor mill is already waiting for next year.

iPhone 12 cameras

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said this week that the iPhone 2022 line will consist of four models, including two 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch top models and two 6.1-inch and 6-inch models. 7 inches.

Kuo said the 2022 iPhones will have significant camera updates, including a 48-megapixel rear lens and 8K video recording.

Especially absent from the iPhone 2022 range is a 5.4-inch “mini” model, which seems to meet at the end of the line next year. This would not be too surprising, as several reports have indicated that sales of the iPhone 12 mini have been weak compared to other iPhone 12 models since the launch of the devices in October. Rumors suggest that there will still be an iPhone 13 mini, however, so it looks like the 5.4-inch model will live another year.

It is rumored that Apple will adopt under the display the face ID starting with 2023 iPhones

Looking ahead, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo this week offered some predictions for the 2023 iPhones, including the introduction of the present ID below the display, which would allow a full-screen design with no notches or holes in the screen. .

Beyond iPhone 13 Better Blue Face ID

The notch has remained unchanged since its introduction on the iPhone X in 2017, but rumors suggest that we will finally see a smaller notch on the iPhone 13 models this year. Kuo said Apple will then move to a perforated display design for at least about 2022 iPhones, followed by full-screen design in 2023. Android smartphone maker ZTE has introduced the first under-screen facial recognition system with a few months ago, proving that exploitation is technologically possible.

Kuo also expects 2023 iPhone devices to have a periscope lens, allowing for a significantly improved optical zoom that far exceeds the current 2.5x limit on the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The leaked photos show the spring colors for the iPhone 12 cases

While rumors have focused on new products, such as an iPad Mini-LED Pro coming to the Apple event on April 20, new spring-themed colors are expected for some iPhone cases and Apple Watch bands.

Twitter user “Tommy Boi” recently shared a photo with some of the alleged new colors of the iPhone 12 case, including Cantaloupe, Pistachio, Capri Blue and Amethyst. The leaks have continued since then, Twitter user “Majin Bu” shared a photo showing three more supposedly new, unnamed colors, including a light blue, mustard yellow and a red. The new spring colors will probably extend to Apple Watch bands, such as Sport Band and Solo Loop.

The iPhone case and the colors of the Apple Watch tape are often seasonally refreshed. These latest color options will likely be added to Apple’s online store for purchase after Tuesday’s event.

Basically with Anker’s MagSafe compatible battery pack

Anker, a company known for its range of accessories designed for Apple products, recently came out with one of the first MagSafe compatible batteries, so we thought we’d check to see how it compares to a standard battery.

Anker magnetic battery pack feature

With a capacity of 5,000 mAh, the battery can fully charge an iPhone 12 mini, but for other iPhones you will only receive a partial charge. Anker says it can charge ‌iPhone 12‌ and 12 Pro by 95% and iPhone 12 Pro Max by 75%, so it doesn’t have as much capacity as other power banks on the market, but it’s still a payload when they’re at a peak.
