It’s Saturday night, and if you don’t like NFL playoff football, you’re probably looking for a movie to check it out. This month, Amazon has a TON of new movies available for its members to stream for free.

1. 28 DAYS LATER – This raw zombie masterpiece imagines an abandoned London and finds a cold horror in its void.

2. CLEAR AND CURRENT DANGER – Harrison Ford delivers an iconic performance as Jack Ryan in this spy thriller.

3. ALMOST FAMOUS – Cameron Crowe’s ode to rock and clouds continues to pull the ropes in all the right ways.

4. THE SOCIETY OF DEAD POETS – This preparatory school for the power of poetry presents one of the best interpretations of all time by Robin Williams.

5. THE SIGNATURE – Tom Cruise ends up objecting (and running a little!) In this adaptation of the legal thriller John Grisham, which lasts better than you would expect.

6. THE LAST MOHICANS – Daniel Day Lewis plays in this 90’s blockbuster about a Native American tribe.

7. LOST IN TRANSLATION – Sofia Coppola’s masterpiece stars Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson as two lost souls in Japan.

8. THE CHARLIE WILSON WAR – Tom Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman have a blast in this political dramedy, written by Aaron Sorkin.

9. MASTER AND COMMANDER – I’m a sucker for a movie at sea. Forget about marine shanties for a minute and get into reality.

10. ERIN BROCKOVICH – Julia Roberts is the role of legal aid who fought hard for those for whom no one else would fight.

11. THE CITY – Ben Affleck is directing this Boston film, which has a twist on stealing from Jeremy Renner as his best friend.

12. LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARS – Guy Ritchie’s revolutionary film is an English gangster with an all-time soundtrack.

13. BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN – Ang Lee directs this film about forbidden love, starring Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhall.

14. TRUMAN SHOW – Jim Carrey is blind in this commentary on reality TV, but Ed Harris steals the show as the insane Christof.

15. MAJOR LEAGUE – One of the greatest sports comedies ever made and a must-watch for any baseball fan. (Well, those who deal with many cursed words.)

16. BOURNE ULTIMATUM – Another perfect film from the Bourne franchise, starring Matt Damon.

17. CHINATOWN – Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway play in this noir masterpiece; one of the greatest movies ever made.

18. DONNIE BRASCO – Al Pacino and Johnny Depp enter this gangster movie.

19. FRIENDS WITH CHILDREN – A busy cast also receives laughter and scary moments in this story about a group of friends struggling with adulthood.

20. LIGHTHOUSE – Live one of the wildest movies I’ve ever seen. I don’t even know how to describe this. Shut up.

21. THE GOLDFINCH – This adaptation of the novel Donna Tartt has some beautifully decorated pieces.

22. GOODBYE – Awkwafina plays in this movie about a family who travels home to say goodbye to a dying matriarch.

23. Z’s Lost City – Charlie Hunnam plays in this vintage play, which has a lot of incredible adventures and scenery.

24. Sigh – A modern update of one of the most annoying horror movies ever made, it manages to be a little more enjoyable.

25. THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS – Wes Anderson’s best film, with a strong cast and enough emotional foundation for his style.

26. REPORT – Adam Driver gives a performance in this film about a government investigation into war crimes.

29. THE VAST OF NIGHT – This extremely low budget SF movie has a pure style and an unexpectedly wonderful dialogue.

30. RAMBO: THE LAST BLOOD – This isn’t Shakespeare, but if you want to see Sly Stallone blow things up, he’s upset.

31. TROOP ZERO – Allison Janney plays in this charming comedy about a band of girl scouts.

32. IMPOSSIBLE MISSION: GHOST PROTOCOL – Another perfect entry into one of the best action movie series ever made.

33. SUPER SIZE ME – This documentary has changed quite fundamentally the way America consumes food.

34. MY SPY – A surprisingly charming and witty little action comedy starring Dave Bautista.

35. GENERATION RESPONSIBILITY – One of the most documentary caves you will ever see about a country obsessed with wealth.

36. THE HUSTLE – This update to the classic Steve Martin DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS makes Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway have fun as artists.

37. LOGAN LUCKY – A perfect robbery movie, with Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Daniel Craig having so much fun that you feel like they made the movie for free.

38. LIGHT OF MY LIFE – A scary post-apocalyptic movie with Casey Affleck.

39. LATE NIGHT – A strange comedy about a late host who strives to recover his greatness and connect with a millennial audience.

40. THE LAST FLAGING FLAG – Three veteran friends from Vietnam go on a road trip to lay one of their sons.

41. KNIVES OUT – Maybe my favorite whodunnit from the last decade, directed by Rian Johnson and again with Daniel Craig stealing every scene he’s in.

42. I’M NOT YOUR BLACK – This documentary about James Baldwin avoids most talking heads and allows the man to tell his own story.

43. APOCALYPTO – Mel Gibson leads this action thriller in the last days of a dying empire.

44. MID90S – Jonah Hill directs this ode to grow as a punk skater. The soundtrack is perfect, and the shows find depth.

45. THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO – The Swedish version may not have the style of David Fincher’s film adaptation, but it presents a revolutionary show by Noomi Rapace.

46. ​​INDICATION – One of the funniest and most quotable films ever made, with Tim Curry in an iconic role.

47. CASINO ROYALE – The movie that relaunched the Bond franchise and made Daniel Craig a star.

48. MANCHESTER BY THE SEA – This movie will leave you in a puddle of tears. It’s brilliant and heartbreaking and it will destroy you.

49. BRITTANY RUNS A MARATHON – A charming little comedy about a young woman who doesn’t seem to be able to make a living together until she starts running.

50. HOTEL ARTEMIS – This movie borrows quite a lot from the JOHN WICK universe, but this is a great thing to borrow from!

51. ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ – Clint Eastwood grimaces through this classic escape movie.

52. FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY – A surprisingly wonderful and funny look at the world of professional wrestling, through the eyes of an English family.

52. IMPOSSIBLE MISSION: FALLOUT – This series does not fail. They are all amazing.

53. 7500 – Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a pilot in a plane taken over by pirates in this thriller.

54. THE GREAT DISEASE – A perfect little romantic comedy that takes place almost entirely inside a hospital. Who knew?

55. HONEY BOY – Shia LaBeouf offers an incredible performance as, more or less, her father, in this partially autobiographical film.

56. A SIMPLE FAVOR – This hilarious thriller has an absurd plot, but director Paul Feig and stars Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick seem to understand how absurd it is and have fun with it.
