Tom Cruise would have surprised NHS staff to thank them for working on the coronavirus pandemic.
The 58-year-old star is believed to have secretly visited the ExCel Center in East London on Thursday to “pay personal tribute to front-line medical staff”.
It comes after Mission Impossible 7 finally ended, after a series of delays and against the background of the statements that the star revealed to the crew for violating the rules of social distance on the set.

A source told The Sun: “He told his team that he wanted to pay a personal tribute to the front-line medical staff who helped resume the films.
“They were really shocked when they saw such a huge movie star. Tom wanted to keep it a secret and make sure it was a pleasant surprise for them.
“People heard their crew debates on the set and that proved how serious the pandemic was.”

The ExCel Center is now a major vaccination center, with another part of the site being used for the new rehabilitation unit at NHS Nightingale Hospital.
Speaking in January, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said: “I want to thank our brilliant NHS staff who transformed the Excel Center to be used as a new large-scale vaccination site, and for the preparation of NHS Nightingale Hospital will be opens as a new patient rehabilitation unit in another part of the center.
“This will be crucial in clearing the much-needed beds in all London hospitals, while accelerating the launch of the vaccine.”
Cruise’s visit comes after filming at Mission: Impossible 7 ended following a global marathon program interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
