To dethrone Gallo Estrada and Chocolatito González, a Japanese man will arrive in America in 2021

Japanese Kazuto Ioka, the world boxing super-flyweight world champion, has already drawn up ambitious plans for 2021 as he hopes to be able to fight in America, more than likely in the United States, to face anyone who wins the belt unification battle between Juan Franciesco Gallo Estrada and Román Chocolatito González, which will take place on March 13.

“I would love to fight Estrada or Chocolatito. Or both. They are both great champions that I respect a lot. I wish them all the best in their fight and I hope to be able to fight them in the United States soon.” said to BoxingScene champion of four different weight divisions.

Of course, before launching into this goal, Ioka will have to overcome a commitment as important as it is risky on December 31st, as he will close the year defending his belt against the undefeated and three-division champion Kosei Tanaka, at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo.

After becoming the champion in straw, light flying and flying weight, the Japanese won the vacant WBO super-noise title, defeating the Filipino Aston Palicte by technical elimination in the 10th round, on June 19, 2019. On December 31, 2019 , but last year, he made his first successful defense by defeating Puerto Rican Jeyvier Cintrón by unanimous decision.

If he manages to keep the title against Tanaka again, Ioka will try to win three of the four big titles that the winner of the fight between Estrada (WBC) and González (WBA) faces. The other division champion is Filipino Jerwin Ancajas, who has eight successful defenses of the IBF title.
