One of the most beloved and respected bands in the music industry is Los Tigres del Norte, a range that 10 years ago released the album “Tr3s presents MTV Unplugged: Los Tigres del Norte and friends”, a live production that they performed- o with international artists and from which is launched for the first time videos who were part of this successful project in YouTube.
The material was recorded on February 8, 2011 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and featured artists such as: Juanes, Andrés Squid, Calle 13, Diego Torres, Zach from Rosa and Paulina Rubio. Since then it has been one of the most representative albums of “Los jefes de jefes”.
The first single from that album was “Golpes en el corazón”, where Paulina Rubio and Eduardo Hernández stole the hearts of the listeners: “We are very excited, because 10 years have passed since we recorded the album and so far it has been quite successful thanks the public. We did not expect this album to have so much acceptance and that these songs will reappear as if they were new songs “, shares in an interview with EL INFORMADO Eduardo, who remembers that Los Tigres are always new challenges.
“We have always been a group that liked to renew itself in the music issue, looking for new ideas and new projects in order to keep up with people’s tastes and offer them something different. When we record, we always think about providing them with good materials, so that, in this case, they have good music from Los Tigres del Norte ”.
Last Monday, February 8, they made a Live with Juanes to remember when they recorded the song “La jaula de oro” with him.
“He was very happy, he asked us that, since he can return to work, he can be at an event so that he can sing live” La caula de oro “and we hope that it will be soon, because we -he offered the emotion he wanted to sing with us. Eduardo explains that through their social networks they will inform the public about other activities they will carry out to further honor this record label. As an anecdote, Eduardo remembers that when he had to record “Golpes en el corazón” with Paulina, he became very nervous, but it was worth it, because that collaboration opened the doors for the new audience: “When he came to the studio to practice the song, I got very nervous, I didn’t remember the lyrics, until I adapted to it, but it was a very beautiful emotion and an anecdote that I will never forget ”.
As for the new plans, Eduardo points out that Next Tuesday, February 16, they will start practicing and entering the studio to model their new musical production that will be unique: “Cumbias is coming, there are ballads, ranches and corridors, it’s a very varied album, we hope to finish it soon to give them the news when we release,” he says that there will be no collaboration on this new album.
As for the pandemic, which stopped their live shows, he points out that they had to take a forced vacation. “On March 14, we, Los Tigres del Norte, will celebrate a year in which we do not work and we feel the despair of not being able to go out to work, not being able to travel and being with our audience, because this is our life. , the group has been working for 50 years, we hope this will happen soon “.
