Tiger Woods was allegedly helped by a “hero” neighbor after a car accident

A neighbor in the suburbs of Los Angeles, where the great Gulf of Tiger Woods collapsed, is considered a hero because he rushed to his assistant after calling 911 in the wreck.

The unidentified married man, 60, who lives near the scene of Tuesday’s accident in Rancho Palos Verdes, rushed to the scene after apparently Woods, 45, lost control of his 2021 Genesis GV80 SUV along a rugged stretch outside of Los Angeles, the Sun reported.

The man who started acting to help Woods refused to be interviewed early Wednesday, but another Rancho Palos Verdes resident hailed him as a “hero,” according to the report.

“I heard he rushed from his house to Tiger’s car as soon as he called 911,” another neighbor told The Sun. “He helped the officers get Tiger out when they arrived. The accident was right behind his house, so when he heard it, he knew immediately that it was a serious accident. “

Woods would have no recollection of the wreck that left him with his right foot broken. He faces a long road to recovery, including extensive physical therapy and several leg surgeries, medical experts told The Post.

No criminal charges are being considered following the accident, and Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said Wednesday that there is no evidence to indicate reckless driving on behalf of Woods.

“A reckless driving tax has a lot of elements,” Villanueva said. “This is purely an accident.”
