Tiger Woods has returned home to Florida as he continues to recover from serious injuries to his leg in a vehicle accident last month in Southern California.
The star golfer went on social media on Tuesday night to offer an update on his condition and to express his gratitude both for the support he received and for the help he was given during his stay in the hospital.
“I am pleased to report that I have returned home and continue my recovery.” wrote on Twitter. “I am so grateful for the support and encouragement I have received in recent weeks.
“Thank you to the surgeons, doctors, nurses and the incredible staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. You all cared so much for me and I can’t thank you enough.
“I will return home and work to strengthen myself every day.”
