TI and Tiny’s VH1 series suspends production amid allegations of sexual abuse

Rapper-actor Tip “TI” Harris and his wife, Xscape Tameka singer “Tiny” Harris, were recently accused of sexually abusing several women by former partner Sabrina Peterson.

As a result, VH1 has temporarily suspended production of their reality series, “TI & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle”.

“We are aware of the allegations and, although not connected to our show, we have contacted TI and Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials,” an MTV Entertainment spokesman said in a statement to Deadline. “Given the seriousness of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.”

The couple faces a number of allegations of sexual abuse, including trafficking, drugs and coercion of women. Since then, they have rejected Peterson’s claims, launching their own statement to the Complex.

“Mr. Harris, and Mrs. Harris, I want to be recorded, and more importantly, I want the public to know that they are insistently denying, in the strongest possible way, the horrific and horrific allegations that Sabrina Peterson has made against them.

“Harrises has been struggling with this woman for more than a decade. They take this issue very seriously. ”
