However, the largest number of travelers affected by the measure had reservations to depart on JetBlue Airways flights.
Regarding the situation of the passengers stranded in the terminal, the general manager of Aeropuerto Dominicanos XXI (Aerodom), Monika Infante, asked the passengers to be responsible and ready at the airport with their travel ticket.
“We ask passengers to be responsible and try to complete their test with sufficient time before going to the airport as they cannot get guarantees to pass the Covid-19 test in the terminal for the large group here travelers, ”he said. .
While Spain’s Ministry of Health has announced that it will require passengers arriving from the Dominican Republic to undergo a PRC test with a negative result to enter that country.
