Thousands of COVID-19 vaccine appointments added in Santa Clara County – NBC Bay Area

Santa Clara County officials announced late Sunday that local COVID vaccine supply has grown and that as a result, thousands of meetings have been added this week, including another 10,000 this weekend alone.

All people aged 16 and over who live or work in the county are eligible and are encouraged to register for a vaccination meeting at sccfreevax.org, said Dr. Jennifer Tong, associate medical officer for Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.

County officials said more than 57 percent of people aged 16 and over living in Santa Clara County received a first dose and more than 31 percent were completely vaccinated.
