In recent years, the LEGO Ideas program has given fans the tools they need to create and launch some great concepts using the brick format. While a number of sets were released as a result, Zelda fans failed in their attempts to petition a set based on Nintendo’s Zelda franchise. However, this did not stop the user Artem Biziaev from sharing his vision of a wonderful set of Hyrule Castle! Based especially on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the castle would consist of 2600 pieces and will include Minifigs of Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, a Stalfos, a member of the Royal Guard and Anju.
An image of the Castle can be found below, and more images can be found on the LEGO Ideas page right here.

What’s interesting about this set is just how much has been put into really channeling the heart ocarina of time. From the Temple of Time to the inclusion of four heart pieces, there is an incredible attention to detail. If this set got the green light from LEGO and Nintendo, it is safe to say that it would become a must-have for Zelda fans!
While previous Zelda sets were previously presented by LEGO Ideas, it is worth noting that the chances are a bit higher, this time. After all, 2020 saw the launch of a line of Super Mario sets from the company, as well as the launch of a LEGO version on the Nintendo Entertainment system. While the figures in the LEGO Mario line did not follow the classic Minifig format, it is entirely possible for a Zelda set to follow something more traditional.
For those unfamiliar with the LEGO Ideas program, fans can sign a petition to show LEGO that there is an interest in purchasing the concept that has been shared. As concepts reach larger stages, users are given more time to attract signatures. Starting with this writing, the idea of the Hyrule Castle project remained 602 days and 1,390 supporters. It will take much more than that to attract LEGO’s attention, so Zelda fans who want to see the set to be realized, will want to show the project some love!
