As it stands, Samsung is the best bet if you want to buy an Android tablet. Galaxy Tab A7 makes one of the most convincing choices in the budget segment. However, if you want to save even more money and you don’t mind the slightly smaller specifications, we recommend that you wait for Samsung to announce a cheaper version in the coming months – Tab A7 Lite.
I’ve already heard a bit about the future model and now – by his kindness @OnLeaks – we have a good idea of what it will look like. Tab A7 Lite has a resemblance to A7, but the rows have visibly thinner side frames. There is only one 8MP sensor on the back, which is a upgrade from the 5MP camera on the A7. However, the selfie camera (which is probably more important on a tablet) has a resolution of 2MP.
OnLeaks also reveals that the phone will have a set of stereo speakers – one at the top and one at the bottom – and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It also confirms a previous leak suggesting that the tablet will have a smaller display of 8.4 inches and a “thin metallic design”.
As for the launch, the A7 Lite is expected to be announced in June alongside the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite.
