America, Cruz Azul and Rayados will play first while León starts at home in “Concachampions”

The football confederation of the Association of North, Central America and the Caribbean announced that on Tuesday, April 6, the first matches for the eighth finals will be played, underlining the commitment between Arcahaie FC and Cruz Azul, a match that will be played in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic .
On Wednesday, April 7, León will host the Canadian Division I champion between Forge FC and Toronto FC. On the same day, the Eagles of America will visit Tiburcio Carias Andino’s field in Tegucigalpa, Honduras to face CD Olimpia. On April 8, Javier Aguirre will make his “Concachampions” debut against Rayados on a visit to Olympian Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to face Club Atlético Pantoja.
Cruz Azul’s return against Arcahaie FC is scheduled for April 13, while America and León will play their match in the round of 16 on April 14. In turn, Monterrey will receive a visit from Atlético Pantoja on April 15.
The Concacaf Champions League final is scheduled for a single match in October, and the clubs in the MX League are preferred to take the title due to the hegemony of Aztec football in the main competition of the clubs in the confederation.
