This hotshot hit every name in the Smash Melee credit draw minigame

The latest Starfighter aliens – you know where to look

Whenever a game gives me a kickass credit sequence: I play it.

Devil May Cry the games generally have my vote in terms of the best final credits, but the flight simulator in Smash Bros. the series is approaching. Porky Zarate felt the same way and became one of the first documented players to manage to get all 190 names in the credits.

If you remember, Smash Melee has a memorable final credit minigame that lets you shoot every name you can: it really marks you at the end! Obviously, Zarate was inspired through this challenge issued by Nathaniel Bandy, who offered a $ 3,000 reward for the first person to receive all 190 credits.

The requirements were as follows: it must be done on a GameCube or Wii, the use of the controller must be verified by recording, the gameplay must be captured and the deadline was March 31, 2021. Well, Zarate checked all those tapes, like video below shows their real-life entries for verification. They even made a Twitter account in the race to 190.

If only in 2001 I could see that with their own eyes.

[Thanks John!]
