This fake Bears 2021 project sends offense help with the first four picks

With the free NFL agency just days away, the breakdown of the team’s needs for the NFL 2021 project will change dramatically with each signing. So take simulated currents with a grain of salt right now.

Get the latest fake sketch from Adam Hoge from NBC Sports Chicago. He makes the Bears make a total assault on their first four selections.

In round 1, Hoge has Bears take on Virginia Tech’s offensive attack, Christian Darrisaw. It’s a great choice, especially in light of the team’s decision to break up with Bobby Massie. Darrisaw is an absolute player and a top 10 player on my board. It would be great if it fell to 20th place.

In round 2 – at number 52 – he has the Bears Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman landing.

Look, if Chicago comes out of the first two rounds with Darrisaw and Bateman? He believes that a dream comes true. But it won’t happen. Bateman is a first round player and there is little or no chance of being around number 52.

I like the position in question, but the choice is a thought of desire.

Hoge remains offended in the third round and has the Bears landing Trey Sermon of Ohio State, a good-looking prospect who has all the traits that teams look for in a start-up.

Chicago has no depth behind David Montgomery (even with a healthy Tarik Cohen returning), and Sermon, another banger between attacks, would make a ton of sense.

The first choice of defender for Bears in this mockery happens in Round 5, with Jamie Newman from Georgia (last played for Wake Forest). More athletic than a pure passer, Newman has an NFL backing that, at this point in his career, is projected as a type of coaching team. Not a great choice.
