The Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel) will present at 4 pm on Monday 28 the content of several relevant aspects of the tender proposal for the spectrum in the 700 MHz band and in the segment from 3,300 to 3,460 MHz for the provision of mobile services (IMT) and the introduction in the country of the fifth generation (5G) which will be convened in January 2021, as announced by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, by decree no. 539-20.
In order to comply with the provisions on social distancing, the agency will make this presentation through the Zoom platform.
Registration to participate in the presentation is available to those interested on the Indotel website and on the institution’s social networks.
Once this webinar has taken place, the telecommunications regulator will receive comments from stakeholders by 6 January 2021 by email licitació[email protected].
With this public tender, Indotel provides the sector with a valuable spectrum that will ensure that users across the national geography can obtain services at quality levels that have not been experienced so far.
