They will know the extent of Yomel el Meloso’s coercion, as the case may be with Sandra Berrocal

Urban exponent Cristofer Hernández, better known as Yomel El Meloso, voluntarily appeared in the Second Criminal Chamber of the national district together with his lawyer after a judge issued an arrest warrant against him.

According to the information, on March 30, the measure of coercion will be known to him in the mentioned court.

“About two days ago I called him through a radio program (Sin Filter) to surrender, to continue the process, it seems that he listened to my advice and appeared today with his lawyer”, Wilkin Sánchez Aguasvivas, Sandra Berrocal lawyer, commented on the Open Lens space that is broadcast by Super (Channel 33).

After his voluntary appearance, “I stopped the arrest warrant … the rebellion continues until 30,” the lawyer said.

Sánchez Aguasvivas explained that Berrocal’s intentions “are not to harm that young man”, so the demand for coercive measures they will ask for is an economic guarantee of 25 million pesos and an impediment to leaving the country.

The lawyer said that the case, which reached the court at the end of 2019, has three conciliation hearings, but was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic when the courts were closed in March 2020.

“This makes him avoid going to court until the trial is over.”

The arrest warrant against Meloso was issued a week ago after he was declared absent because he did not participate in the hearings in the defamation case following a lawsuit filed in 2019 by TV presenter Sandra Berrocal.
