They stop the drug trade with stuffed bears between the United States and Puerto Rico

Authorities in the city of Jacksonville, Florida, announced the arrests of several men yesterday, Thursday, for sending cocaine-laden teddy bears between the United States and Puerto Rico.

According to the portal www.wokv.com, in an investigation, youths Yaddiel López, 24 and Cassidy Martínez-Iglesias, along with the United States Postal Service, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Puerto Rico Drug Enforcement Agency, tried to run a narcotics distribution network through the postal service.

The island’s drug authorities said they first contacted JSO in January about a suspicious package to be delivered to Edgar López’s Jacksonville home.

The above package included a teddy bear, filled with two kilos of cocaine and a tracking device.
